Ray Overdorff,

Ray, Managing Partner of True Advantage Group, President and CEO of Overdorff Associates, executive, entrepreneur, organizational effectiveness consultant has twenty-five years in corporate management with a major food chain, and twenty two years as an owner/operator of independent supermarkets.  Ray began his Overdorff Associates consulting business in 1982 and has facilitated Strategic Thinking and Business Planning, Management Development, Supervisory Training, Leadership Development, and Sales Processes for a variety of industries. He has also implemented quality initiatives and customer services programs in a variety of unique and varied settings.  As an outside consultant, Ray conducted Management Development programs for all levels of management at Super Fresh Food Stores, Philadelphia, PA, Kohl’s Food Stores, Milwaukee, WI, Red Food Stores, Chattanooga, TN, and A & P Food Stores, New Orleans, LA.  As an active participant of a Labor Management Strategy Team for three years, Ray focused on business and survival strategy.

Ray is committed to excellence and has done extensive research and application initiatives in the areas of attitude change, attitude development, leadership and management behavior, human relation skills, communication and listening skills, problem solving and decision making, and goal achievement. Grant J. Stewart

As Managing Partner of True Advantage Group LLC and President and CEO of Performance Matrix LLC, Grant brings a wealth of skills, knowledge and passion to the True Advantage experience.  As trusted advisor, mentor, facilitator and coach, Grant has worked with over 200 organizations and thousands of individuals over the past 25 years in a wide variety of organizational and personal development undertakings.

Grant has worked with all levels of the organization from the shop floor to the executive suite including strategic thinking and business planning, leadership and workforce development and process improvement initiatives.  Grant’s representative experience includes (but is not limited to) healthcare, manufacturing, Service, Government, and the Not-for-Profit sectors. Grant developed and launched the teams that implemented Integrated Product Development initiatives for Northern Telecom and NASA’s Small Spacecraft Technology Initiative. One shortened time to market for new products from two years to six months. The other reduced a small spacecraft’s time from inception to space launch from five years to two years. Grant has also steered and implemented process improvement projects resulting significant savings and wealth accumulation for national and international corporations.  Grant’s primary aim is to inspire others to achieve higher levels of performance and a better quality of life by maximizing their effectiveness and realizing their full potential.

 

Walter J Smith,

Walter J., Managing Partner of True Advantage Group, has been studying successful people and processes for over 20 years.  His fascination with why some people “Soar to Success” while others just try to “Scratch out a Living” has lead him to discover many Universal Truths, that when applied properly increase our Health, Wealth and Happiness. 

He started his life journey in Westerville, Ohio where he was a scholar athlete and earned a Scholarship to Vanderbilt University in Nashville, TN.  He graduated as a Mechanical and Materials Engineer and went to work in the Construction Industry.  After 10 years in Management and 10 years Sales he decided he would rather help people Construct better lives and went out on his own to follow his dream of becoming a Public Speaker.

Walter J is President of Early Bird Toastmasters and through his active involvement in Toastmasters International, a group that helps individuals improve their Speaking, Listening and Leadership skills, he met his three current business partners.  Together they combined their skills, talents and experience to form the True Advantage Group, an organization whose vision is to help people around the world discover and develop their Personal and Professional Potential.  Their mission is to expand Health, Wealth and Happiness.

Robert E. Humphreys

  An agent of progress, Robert E. Humphreys helps individuals and organizations develop superior goals, engage full potential and maintain holistic alignment of maximum performance to achieve previously “impossible” results.  

  Robert completed his formal studies in ministries, theology, administration, psychology and sociology at Liberty University, and gained invaluable training and experience through such organizations as Dale Carnegie, the National Forensic League, the International Manager’s Council, the Pennsylvania Personnel Association, the U.S. Jaycees and Toastmasters International; the latter two, awarding him their highest levels of achievement. 

  Along the way, Robert has volunteered his time, resources and capabilities to positively impact the lives of adults and youth through interstate ministries, and the civic, educational and professional organizations through which he has served.

  Robert honed his knowledge and capabilities through his experience with human resource staffing and development, management, production, R & D, quality assurance, marketing, sales, installations, customer service and more through a variety of industries, including manufacturing, retail, professional services, housing and entertainment.

  A loving parent, experienced professional, active volunteer, collaborative team member and inspiring leader, Robert integrates his diverse understanding with the proven processes and powerful concepts found on this site.

  Through these collaborative processes, Robert’s clients discover their full potential and maximum performance by becoming self-led, self-motivated individuals, aligned with the strategic intent and mutually beneficial goals of their organizations.
